The A/AN-I-4"-PB is a 4 inch plastic immersion 10K ohm type III thermistor @ 77°F (25°C). The plastic immersion (PB) configuration includes a two-piece 304 stainless steel thermowell which has male 1/2 inch NPT threads. The wells are milled to tight tolerances so there is maximum temperature transfer and this eliminates the need for thermal grease. The sensing element is double encapsulated to avoid sensor failures caused by moisture infiltration. This enclosure is rated to 140°F.
